Creamery Sets Record With Great Rivers United Way
Dec 10, 2025 (Westby, WI)
For more than a decade, Westby Cooperative Creamery has partnered with Great Rivers United Way to help strengthen the economic, social and environmental fabric of the community. This year marks a major milestone: The creamery set a new record with $9,270 donated for 2025, bringing total contributions since 2015 to $60,995.20.
These donations reflect the combined generosity of the creamery and its employees. Through a simple payroll deduction program, employees can make one-time or recurring contributions, making it easy for everyone to support United Way’s work across the seven-county region, including La Crosse, Vernon, Crawford, Monroe, Buffalo, Trempealeau and Houston counties in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
To boost the 2025 campaign, the Creamery Board of Directors matched every employee dollar pledged, doubling the impact and helping the 11-year total reach nearly $61,000.
Great Rivers United Way funds more than 26 certified agencies and 52 programs supporting education, income stability, health and essential needs such as food, shelter and safety. Each year, more than 100 volunteers review grant applications to ensure every dollar supports programs that deliver measurable, lasting results.
This long-standing partnership reflects Westby Cooperative Creamery’s continued commitment to investing in programs that uplift and strengthen the community.
