Farmers Gather for 122nd Annual Meeting

The 122nd Annual Meeting of Westby Cooperative Creamery was held on Feb. 19. The Creamery’s farmer-owners enjoyed lunch, heard from the general manager on how 2025 went and celebrated the quality award recipients – namely, Daniel and Lisa Chapin of Readstown, Wis.

The Westby Cooperative Creamery Annual Meeting is a well-attended event where the co-op’s farmer-owners gather to hear business updates and, new to 2026, information on the $14 million cottage cheese modernization project, which remains on scheduled for a fall 2026 launch.

The Westby Cooperative Creamery Annual Meeting is a well-attended luncheon where organizational updates are shared.

 

Additionally, this meeting allows farmer-owners to vote on their Board of Directors. This year, the Creamery welcomed a new member, Jeff LeJeune of Westby, Wis.

Ben Klinkner, Andy Olson, Gerald Vesbach, Ashley Olson and Jerad Fleming retained their seats on the board and were not up for election, while Seth Byom was elected for another term as an incumbent.
