Westby Creamery Shares 2025 Gift Back Report

More than $53,000 in dairy products, gift certificates, sponsorships, ad support and more was shared with area non-profits in 2025 as part of Westby Cooperative Creamery’s ongoing commitment to support the community.

The vast majority of the allocation – $33,000 – went to area food banks, helping deliver the wholesome dairy products made by the Creamery to households facing rising grocery costs. More than $15,000 went to support community sponsorships with an emphasis in agriculture-related initiatives. This category includes supporting FFA Clubs, Dairy breakfasts, farm shows and similar events that celebrate and strengthen local agriculture. The remaining funds were distributed among a wide range of causes, including school club fundraisers, athletic events, library programs and more – all reflecting the Creamery’s dedication to being a trusted and engaged community partner.

And the buck doesn’t stop with direct donations. The Creamery’s Culture Committee sponsors departmental competitions to support area drives, such as the fall school supply drive, in addition to an optional annual giving plan set up through the Great Rivers United Way.

Due to the high volume of donation requests received each year, the application process is now entirely online and very easy to use.

To request support for your non-profit event, Westby Creamery has a simple online application. Head to WestbyCreamery.com and click on “contact us” at the top of the page then “request donation.” The form will ask for an organizer’s name and contact information, along with a description of the event. The last step is to click “submit donation request” and your application is sent to the appropriate personnel for review.

While preference is given to dairy- and agriculture-related events, Westby Cooperative Creamery proudly supports programs that benefit the entire community.
