Westby Creamery Welcomes Content Marketing Intern
Apr 27, 2020 (Westby, WI)
Westby Cooperative Creamery is excited to announce the addition of McKensey Hendrix to the sales and marketing team. Hendrix, otherwise known as Kens, will lead content marketing this summer as the Creamery’s intern.
Hendrix grew up in Fond du Lac, Wis., but moved to the area to attend college at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where she studies marketing with a minor in digital media and design. She will be graduating in a few short weeks and said she is excited to get started on her career.
As the content marketing intern, Hendrix will be responsible for creating Westby Creamery farm profile stories and maintaining the web blog.
“Now more than ever, it’s paramount that Westby Creamery communicates its story as a farmer-owned dairy cooperative in a way that resonates with consumers,” Emily Bialkowski, Westby’s sales and marketing manager, said. “Having McKensey join us for the summer will aid this effort while providing her an opportunity to flex the skills she learned in college. We are particularly excited to have McKensey update our farm profile stories and for her to share her love of Southwest Wisconsin through this storytelling.”
Hendrix said she is most excited to continue to meet all the great people that make up Westby Creamery. “Everyone I have met thus far has been so kind and welcoming. I can’t wait to meet everyone else,” she said, adding she is eager to go out and visit the beautiful farms and learn more about dairy farming.
In her free time, you can find Hendrix playing volleyball or shooting hoops with friends. She also loves to take advantage of the area’s beautiful bluffs for hiking and watching the sunset.
